Strength work that fits into the first hour of your day.
Strongstartdaily is a small studio on Bukit Pasoh Road. Four people on the floor at a time, a written programme for each of them, and a coach who already knows what you lifted last Tuesday. The first session of the day starts at 06:00 and you are at your desk by nine.

The list
A studio built for a small list
We keep sixty active places and we close the list when they are taken. That number is not a marketing line. It is the most we can coach properly: the same people, in the same hours, with programmes that are rewritten from the log rather than from a template. Beyond sixty, names become a spreadsheet and the floor becomes a room you visit.
In practice it means you train at one time each week, the rack you need is free, and the coach can recall the hitch in last Tuesday’s hinge without asking you to recap the month. You are not buying access to an empty gym. You are buying a place in a timetable that is already written.
When the list is full we say so. New enquiries move to a waiting list and we write when a slot opens. We would rather you wait than join a crowded hour that we cannot coach. If you are already on the list, your place stays yours for as long as you keep the appointment and buy the next block when the last one runs out.

Ways to train
Semi-private strength
Semi-private hours keep four people on the floor, each with a written programme. You share the room and the coach, not the same workout. Twelve minutes of preparation, a main lift, two assistance blocks and a short finish. The cap exists so every working set can be watched. Bring indoor shoes, a bottle and the training log we issue in week one.

One-to-one coaching
One-to-one coaching is fifty-five minutes with the whole floor effectively yours. It suits a return from injury, a short competition block, or anyone who wants the hour without sharing attention. We work inside the limits a physiotherapist has already set; we do not replace that work. Morning and evening windows are limited. You still leave with a written programme and a log.

Starting block
The starting block is four weeks and eight sessions. Week one is an assessment and two technique-heavy hours. By week four you have a written programme, video notes on your squat and hinge, and a slot that already fits your week. It is the usual door for people who have not lifted, and for people who have lifted but want this method.

Mobility and conditioning
Mobility and conditioning is forty-five minutes of positions, breathing, and easy work on the rower or ski-erg. People use it as a second day in the week when the body wants range more than load. You still follow a short written plan. The group stays small so the coach can change the drill if a shoulder or hip is not ready.
We begin with a thirty-minute conversation and a movement assessment on the floor. We ask about work hours, sleep, old injuries and what you can actually attend. The result is a short list of limits for the programme, not a diagnosis. If the list is full we will say so before you travel to Bukit Pasoh.
Week one
Two sessions. Loads stay conservative while we watch how you squat, hinge, press and carry. You learn the paper log: weight, repetitions, and one line about how the last set felt. That line is how week two gets written. Shoes, towel and the stairs become ordinary by the second visit.
Weeks two and three
Volume rises once the positions are quiet. We lock the weekly hour so the same four people share the floor. If a lift is ugly we keep the weight still. If a lift is clean we add a set or a repetition before we add kilograms. You should already know which door, which rack and which time is yours.
From week four
The first programme is rewritten from the log, not from the calendar. We sit with the notes, look at the videos of your squat and hinge, and decide what the next four weeks are for. Progress is the next block you can actually finish, not a number we guessed in week one.
The room
The room
The studio sits on the second floor of a shophouse on Bukit Pasoh Road. The training floor is ninety-two square metres: timber boards, two lifting platforms, four squat racks, kettlebells from 8 to 48 kilograms, a rower and a ski-erg. Two showers sit behind the desk. Towels and coffee are on the counter when you arrive.
Morning light comes through the front windows before eight. We keep one speaker, and the music stays low enough that a cue does not have to be shouted. There is no open-gym traffic and no second room for wandering. If you are on the floor, you are in a session.

No. The starting block exists for people who have not lifted a barbell, and for people who have lifted but want this method. We spend the first hours on positions, not on a number. If you already train, we still assess before we write a load.
What if I travel for work?
Say so before we lock a slot. You may move a session with twelve hours’ notice. A trip of two weeks or more can freeze the remaining block. Monthly travel is normal here; it is planned in week one rather than handled as a surprise.
Can I come at the same time every week?
That is the default. A fixed hour keeps the floor at four and keeps your programme honest. If your week truly rotates we will look at two alternating times. There is no walk-in hour.
