A second-floor room on Bukit Pasoh Road.

Ninety-two square metres above a blue door, a short walk from Outram Park. The studio is a working floor, not a showroom: two platforms, four racks, and a desk with towels. You come for a booked hour and you leave when the hour ends.

Route

Getting here

We are at 52 Bukit Pasoh Road, #02-01, Singapore 089842. From Outram Park MRT use Exit 4; the walk is about seven minutes through the shophouse streets. Maxwell MRT is a similar stroll if that line is kinder to your commute. Look for the blue door at street level and take the stairs to the second floor. There is no lift.

If you come by car, paid parking sits around Pasoh Road and Kreta Ayer. Spaces are limited in the evening, so the MRT is the calmer option before 09:00. Ring +65 6327 5940 if the door is closed; we open it for booked sessions and for the visit hours we agree in advance.

Equipment

The floor

The training floor is ninety-two square metres with a timber surface over the platforms. Two lifting platforms sit under the racks. Four squat racks share the room with a full kettlebell set from 8 to 48 kilograms, a rowing machine, a ski-erg, and mats for floor work. Plates are in kilograms. Benches, a pull-up bar and carry handles cover the rest of the list.

There is no cardio theatre and no second room for circuits. If a piece of equipment is out, we write around it that day.

Showers and the desk

Two showers sit behind the desk, which is enough when the hour holds four people and two of them need to be at a desk by nine. Towels are stacked at the counter; leave the used one in the basket. Lockers take a bag and a change of clothes. Coffee is on the desk from the first morning session. We do not run a café — it is a flask and cups for people who trained at 06:00.

The desk is also where the paper logs live. Write the session before you go down the stairs. If you need a second towel, take one. If you need the door held for a late arrival, call; we will not prop it open onto the street.

Hours

The timetable

Sessions start at these times. Each weekday morning hour sits inside 06:00–11:00; evening hours sit inside 17:00–20:30. Saturday mornings run to 12:00. Sunday is closed.

A slot is a place with a name on it, not a window you drift through. If you need a visit rather than a session, 06:30 and 18:00 on weekdays are the usual times to see the floor.

Habits

House habits

Put the plates back on the tree and the kettlebells back on the line. The next hour starts on the minute and should not begin with a scavenger hunt. Phones stay on silent and off the platform. If you need to take a call, take it on the stairs, not on the floor.

Skip strong perfume and heavy cologne; the room is small and two people will shower after you. Wear indoor training shoes — street shoes stop at the landing. Chalk is fine; please keep it on the hands and the bar, not on the timber. If you are unwell, stay home and move the session with twelve hours’ notice.

Access

Access and quiet hours

There is no self-access and no door code. The studio opens for booked sessions and for the visits we have already agreed. If you arrive early, wait on the landing or at the desk; do not start a lift before the coach is on the floor.

Outside session times the room is closed. We do not offer 24-hour access, weekend open gym, or a spare key for a “quick session”. That is the point of a sixty-person list: when you are here, someone is coaching. When you are not here, the room stays quiet.
